Adult Jiu-Jitsu Classes
Jiu-Jitsu is taught through two different training options:
Gi Classes: Students practice in a Gi (Kimono/Uniform). Classes use belt rankings which means you are given belt promotions based on your progress. In grappling, students are able to use the Gi (e.g., sleeves, collar, pant legs) to gain and control positions.
No-Gi Classes: Students have the opportunity to learn to adapt Jiu Jitsu techniques to no-Gi situations. This training is ideal for students who want to learn practical techniques that do not depend on the using the Gi; techniques applicable in real-life situations. This style is also used widely in MMA.
